Irrigation Season Begins April 15

Following a very successful 2023 irrigation season, we are excited to share that the 2024 irrigation season will begin on April 15. Current water storage in our systems resevoirs, coupled with the anticipated snow melt indicate we can reasonably expect another successful and complete irrigation season this year.

Irrigation Policy Updates

Your NYWD Board of Directors and administrative staff have been hard at work on updates to the district's Irrigation Policy. Policy changes will be discussed at the March Board Meeting for updates and/or action at the March or future board meetings.

Customer Access to District Information

Did you know you can now find in-depth information related to NYWD’s operations, current and past improvement projects, board meeting agendas and related information, as well as district financials and more on our new, improved website and recently launched customer newsletter.

We hope you will utilize the new website and take time to read our monthly newsletter to stay up-to-date and receive accurate information on District news and activities.

North Yuba Water District has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations. The compliance officer has received training in website accessibility and updates the site in accordance with those best practices. Contact our accessibility officer to report an issue.

In addition to testing with users with a wide range of disabilities and coding our website to WCAG standards, North Yuba Water District regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance, and makes timely changes to any inaccessible changes, if any are found.
